Sanitary Pads Outreach

 

It was all smiles and heart of gratitude as Sweetest Kiddies Sanctuary took its sensitization and distribution of sanitary pads to Government Girls Secondary School, Big Qua Town, Calabar Municipal Local Government Area of Cross River State, where over 1500 Lady Care sanitary pads were distributed to the girl  child of menstruating age. Sweetest Kiddies Sanctuary is a subsidiary of Sweetest Kiddies Empire.

The girls were intimated about the importance of menstrual hygiene and Sweetest Kiddies team spent time answering all their burning questions.Teenagers have lots of questions begging for answers.

In appreciation, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Arit Ota Onaga said the teachers and students are delighted to receive from Sweetest Kiddies Sanctuary. Mrs. Arit applauded the kind gesture of the NGO. Expressing heartfelt gratitude also, Miss. Stella Gabriel on behalf of the students said the sensitization and distribution is timely as they have learned new things regarding pad usage.

The senior student said the pad given to them will go a long way to save money for other vital things in the family.

Sweetest Kiddies Empire shows gratitude to Nigerians who put in their hard-earned money, to support Sweetest Kiddies Pad-Up-A-Girl, rural outreach project. 80% of the funds needed for Sweetest Kiddies Empire programs are always made available by God, through kindhearted people who long to not only make a difference but be the difference.The smiles, hope, and happiness on their faces are quite obvious for all to see. Happiness is the only thing that multiplies when you share it.

Mr. Sunday Adegboye, you haven’t met nor known me in person, but seeing our genuine passion towards The Nigerian Child, you and your wife supported us heavily financially, your kind is rare.

Mrs. Ogechi Jideofor, Mr. Samuel Archibong, Mr. Umoh Effiom, Mr. Mike Mornu, FCIB, FCIL, Mr. & Mrs. Obinna Ekwuribe, Mrs. Ogechi Okwuegbu, Dr. Ndoma Egba, Mrs. Elizabeth Ene and Lady Esther Edoho. This 2nd outreach recorded greater success because you made it possible. Your source of riches shall never run dry in Jesus Name, Amen.

Students who were literally going to school barefooted were excited to be given new sandals.To curb the high rate of immorality amongst teenagers, The Founder/ Creative Director of Sweetest Kiddies Empire  – Nikita Nkese, who is also an author distributed her bestselling children’s book free of charge during the outreach. 

To God alone be all the glory for the privilege to be used as a vessel for positive impact.
